Some moments from the past week. Next week is the end of my month of daily photos. I’ve enjoyed it, so I think I might just carry on… but instead of doing weekly blog posts, I’ll make one a month with my favourites.
Can’t believe we are halfway through January already (Also can’t believe I’ve actually kept up with taking a photo a day)! Some little moments from the past week; sketchbook pages, snoozing cats and getting caught in the snow (and coming home to a hot cup of earl grey)
Right now, in this dark grey weather, bed is my happy place. I mean, it kind of usually is, but especially this month. Probably not the healthiest of statements, but we bought a new bed & beside tables recently and I’ve just wanted to spend all of my time in there! I always think bedsideContinue reading “My Bedside Table”
Can you tell it’s really dark in Suffolk right now? Feeling very lethargic at the moment and am boiling down to not having enough sunlight. I think my lethargy is probably showing through in my photos. There’s just no inspiration around right now! On a more positive note, I’ve picked up my laptop and amContinue reading “Daily Photos: Week 2”
This month I’m trying to take a photo a day and use the “panoramic”/multiple photo option on my instagram. These are from the first week (the first two are in my last post). I have to say though, I’m already getting tired of the multiple photo thing. I think it can look really interesting if doneContinue reading “Daily Photos”
Wow, 2017 went by in a flash. I don’t know if it’s because I was busy (although I didn’t really feel that busy), or if it’s come to that point in my life where years are just going to go by faster and faster. The first few months were spent working like a crazy personContinue reading “Hello New Year”
Autumn is quickly turning in to winter, but I’m trying to enjoy the golden leaves while they last. Photos from the last couple of months. I have been loving this cool cat for 6 years today!
I’ve taken self portraits ever since I got in to photography at 16. Setting up my £5 tripod from Tesco (which only got replaced last Christmas!!??), adjusting the self timer and focus and sitting by myself in front of the camera. They were always emotion-based; I’ve always found it easier to get across how I’m feelingContinue reading “Self Portraits & Blog Direction”
A couple of weekends ago we travelled to Hastings for a few days. On our way there we visited Bodium Castle (which is incredible by the way – definitely worth a visit!) and we also stopped by Brighton to see Mr. Jukes. We fell in love with Hastings all over again (I hadn’t been sinceContinue reading “Sussex Wandering”
Dunwich beach & heath is turning in to one of my favourite places this summer. We’ve been on 3 occasions in the last 3 months and it just gets more and more beautiful. Of course we, the hermits, decided to go on the hottest bank holiday Monday of the year. IT WAS SO BUSY andContinue reading “Dunwich Beach & Heath”
